Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery
Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery goes by many names, this surgical specialty is also called cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, congenital heart surgery and cardiac surgery – this discipline focuses on the organs in the chest and conditions of the heart, lungs and esophagus, or more simply put, everything above the diaphragm.
